What materials do you use?
All Luni pieces are made from stoneware clay and finished with food-safe glazes and undergazes. The ceramic jewellery findings (earring hooks, hoops, etc.) are made from PVD gold-plated stainless steel.
Are your pieces dishwasher- and food-safe?
Yes, all functional pieces like mugs and bowls are made with food-safe glazes able to be put into the dishwasher. However, hand washing is recommended to keep your pieces looking their best for longer.
Are your pieces microwave safe?
Technically yes, but it's not recommended! Handmade pottery can have natural variations, and repeated microwave use can cause wear to the piece. If your piece has gold accents (24k gold lustre), do not microwave.
How long does a piece take to make?
As every piece is made entirely by hand, the time it takes to make a piece varies a lot depending on the complexity of the design. A mug for example can take anywhere from 1.5 to 5 hours of ‘hands-on’ time to make and paint. The entire process from start to finish can take a month or longer.
Do you take custom orders?
Not at this stage — all pieces are ready to ship and available through the shop as listed.
How often do you update the shop?
I aim to update the shop every other month, so usually 6–7 times per year. Following Luni Pottery on social media is the best way to get updated on when shop updates will happen.
Where can I buy Luni pottery?
You can shop online through the Luni website, or find me in person at local Auckland markets. Luni pieces are not stocked in any retail stores :)

What if my order arrives damaged?
Please get in touch as soon as possible with a photo of the damage and your order details, and I’ll sort it out for you.

What Payment do you accept?
All major credit cards are accepted.
Internet bank transfer is accepted (please note your order will not be shipped until payment is received)
Do you accept afterpay?
No, afterpay is not accepted at this time.

All orders are shipped from Auckland, New Zealand
Can I pick up an order?
Yes, I offer a pick-up option at checkout. Pick up is from my address in Papakura, Auckland.
Do you ship internationally?
Luni ships within New Zealand and to Australia. If you're based elsewhere in the world, get in touch and I can organise shipping for you! Send us an email at lunipottery@gmail.com
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Each order is packed with love, so please allow 1-3 business days for your order to be processed and packed before it is shipped. Most New Zealand orders are posted as courier parcels with NZ post, which arrive within 1-2 business days after being shipped.
International orders can take anywhere from 2 weeks to one month to arrive.
Please note that orders are shipped on business days only, and that during holiday periods, such as Christmas, delivery delays will occur.
How can I track my order?

and enter the tracking number we have sent to you. Alternatively, you can track your parcel on our website or directly from your shipping email received from us.
